Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible and how to contact the owner

REPLACE-WITH-YOUR-LEGAL-NAME is the private individual responsible for Badacz odbiorców and for the processing described in this policy. The tool is used for her own non-commercial research. For privacy questions, requests or concerns, contact REPLACE-WITH-YOUR-CONTACT-EMAIL.EXAMPLE. This site is the public documentation page for the API client at REPLACE-WITH-YOUR-DOMAIN.EXAMPLE; it has no account registration, forms, analytics tracker or advertising.

2. Current processing

The currently available local demonstration uses only synthetic input. It makes no external call and processes no YouTube comments. A separate, one-time technical pilot retrieved a limited set of public video-search metadata through the YouTube Data API. The pilot did not retrieve comments or replies, did not paginate, and did not create derived metrics.

Public comment text, reply text, commenter names, profile URLs and profile images are not currently retrieved by this client.

3. Proposed processing only if permitted and implemented

If the relevant YouTube terms are accepted and the related controls are implemented, the client may request the minimum public API data needed to document source selection and analyze discussion themes. Proposed categories are video, channel, thread and comment identifiers; video titles and descriptions needed to assess sources; public comment and reply text; publication dates; and thread relationships.

It will not use data to infer sensitive traits, build person profiles, combine a commenter’s activity across unrelated contexts, contact commenters, sell raw data, publish full discussion copies or train/fine-tune a model on comments. The owner does not currently make these planned operations available.

4. Retention, refresh and deletion

The current synthetic demonstration contains no YouTube API data. The narrow pilot records a refresh-or-delete deadline of 30 days. For any future retrieved API data, the client must refresh or delete other API data such as video titles, creator names and comment text within 30 days, unless another applicable YouTube policy explicitly permits a different retention period. The automated implementation and verification of this lifecycle are not implemented; therefore this client does not currently retrieve comment data.

Where the additional derived-metrics policy applies and is accepted, separately labelled independently generated metrics and public statistical data may be retained only under its applicable terms. This policy does not assert that permission has been granted.

5. Sharing, security and external services

The client is local and private. It is not a public service, does not share API data with customers and does not use advertising or analytics trackers on this documentation site. An API key, if used for an approved request, is kept outside this website and source package; it is never published here.

YouTube API Services may process requests made to them. Please also read the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube’s developer policies and any applicable additional terms continue to govern the use of YouTube API Services.

6. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date before any new processing is represented as available.
